September 30 -- the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada

“September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra and Sistema New Brunswick believe that Truth and Reconciliation is incredibly important to reflect on as we continue to rebuild the bridges of love and trust that were broken with the Indigenous people who share their land with us. Let us all take this opportunity to educate ourselves, understand, grow and reflect on acts of reconciliation as we move toward a future where all people share in the benefits of a healthy, just, sustainable, and prosperous society.”

‘With love and respect, we honour the survivors, their families and their communities.’
